Mr. Chair, first of all, I would like to say that it is true that our committee works very hard. We were fortunate to have Minister Duclos here today, and it was really interesting. The work that was done is a step forward, but it needs to continue, of course. The person appointed to the position of Commissioner of Official Languages will appear before us. We will also have Minister Joly here. These are all good things.

That said, I would like to give a notice of motion that follows on what I mentioned today:

That the Committee invite the President of the Réseau pour le développement de l'alphabétisme et des compétences (RESDAC) to appear before the Committee in February 2018 to update the Committee on the organization’s current status

It's just a notice. We can discuss the motion later.
