Mr. Speaker, memory is not infallible.

Earlier, the member for Portneuf—Jacques-Cartier rose on a point of order to scold us. However, I have noticed the member for Portneuf—Jacques-Cartier taking photographs, even though everyone knows that taking photographs in the House is not allowed.

I would therefore like you to remind members that taking photographs in the House is against the rules. The member for Portneuf—Jacques-Cartier should think twice before taking photographs in the House.

The Deputy Speaker Conservative Bruce Stanton

I appreciate the point of order raised by the hon. parliamentary secretary. We have explained that using mobile devices to take photographs is not allowed. I would ask any hon. members who have taken photographs to delete them.

They should be pushing delete. I would remind hon. members that the use of smart phones for photos is not permitted in the House. We will continue to reiterate this. I would ask for all members co-operation in this respect.
