Hello, everybody. Welcome to INAN, the indigenous and northern affairs committee.

We're on unceded Algonquin territory here in Ottawa. At a time when Canada is finally dealing with truth and reconciliation in a sincere and proactive manner, it's important for us to recognize the lands that we're on and the history we've gone through and that we are building together in a more positive Canada.

We have a couple of jobs to do before we get into the fire study.

We have a change in our vice-chair. I'll turn it over to our clerk. He will be conducting the election.

Mike.

Pursuant to Standing Order 106(2), the second vice-chair must be a member of an opposition party other than the official opposition.

I am now prepared to receive a motion for the second vice-chair.
