Canada's Contribution to the Effort to Combat ISIL  Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague for her explanation. My colleague said several times that there was no clear plan or objectives for Canada's mission in Iraq. If she does not think that training an army to be able to operate in a theatre of operations and reclaim village after village and province after province, which is exactly what is happening in Iraq, and giving the Iraqi army the intelligence it needs for its planes to target ISIL positions constitute a clear plan and clear objectives, can the member explain what she considers to be a clear plan and clear objectives?

Canada's Contribution to the Effort to Combat ISIL  Mr. Speaker, I would like to remind my colleague that our defence minister has all the qualifications and experience of a military man. He is monitoring the situation on the ground. He will never make a more difficult decision than this in order to cripple ISIS, and ISIS will be crippled.

Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, since 1948, the creation of the State of Israel, and with the years past, it was clear to anybody that forces motion and even veto power did not resolve the problem. In 1948, the Palestinians started a fight with guns or machine guns, and now we see them launching missiles on the State of Israel.

Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague. He continues to criticize our Minister of Finance, who is very competent and values transparency. He will ensure that we balance the budget for Canadians by the end of this government's term. The Minister of Finance criss-crossed Canada with his parliamentary secretary in order to consult Canadians, businesses, and chambers of commerce to identify their needs and prepare a budget that meets the needs of all sectors.

Income Tax Act  Madam Speaker, I am puzzled. The member says that this government is attacking those who have higher revenue and that this will disrupt the creation of jobs. The opposite is true. He knows very well that our massive investment in green infrastructure, in technology, and in social housing is what will stimulate the economy and create jobs.

Our Minister of Finance visited Canada's provinces from coast to coast to coast to get a clear idea of what every province needs. What does my colleague think of our Minister of Finance's approach and how he is going about allocating the funding that every province needs?

Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, I would like to ask my colleague if he has a clear idea about the efficiency of the military involvement of our CF-18s against ISIS, and if he clearly understands the other steps our government is taking to cripple ISIS? There was a high cost for our involvement with the CF-18s.

Business of Supply  Madam Speaker, I congratulate my colleague on his election. As far as our war against ISIL, against Daesh is concerned, our government made the right decision. Mathematically speaking, our CF-18s have flown less than 2% of the missions, but the cost is very high. What is more, we are putting the lives of our pilots at risk.
