Industry committee  I guess our concern wasn't the concern of Imagine Canada. I recognize that they have a more difficult task than we do, because they represent a broad constituency of member organizations. They have to look right across the spectrum. I think our membership approach at the Red Cross is compatible with the provisions of the bill.

Industry committee  Thank you, Pam. Good afternoon, Mr. Chair and members of the committee. I think the gist of our message is that the Canadian Red Cross recognizes the need for new legislation governing not-for-profit corporations in Canada. I want to underscore that; I think just about everybody would be in support of that.
