Paris Agreement  Mr. Speaker, I thank the hon. member for the question. First, our government is making record investments in public transit, including through our budget 2016-17. This will give many cities such as Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver the opportunity to develop public transit systems that are accessible to people currently without access.

Festival of Colours in Rigaud  Mr. Speaker, today I would like to highlight the 2016 Festival of Colours in Rigaud, which will be held from October 8 to 10. Every year, thanks to the hard work of Christiane Lévesque and her team, the City of Rigaud, and many volunteers, the festival becomes more popular, showcases the region's fall colours, and welcomes everyone to share the celebrations.

I am sure all members, on both sides of the House, know of a neighbour, family member, or one of their constituents who has been affected by a tragedy caused by impaired driving.

City of Vaudreuil-Dorion  Mr. Speaker, I am pleased to rise today to inform the House that the city of Vaudreuil-Dorion has won the “International Award UCLG – Culture 21” for its I am/Je suis project, beating cities like Rio, Cape Town, Dublin, and Lisbon. This incredible success is due in part to inclusive multicultural events such as the Mozaïk Parade, which will be marching through the city this year on June 23.

Youth in Office Day  Mr. Speaker, today we are happy to welcome over 100 young Canadians to Ottawa for the third installment of the Youth in Office event. This incredible initiative, championed by the Boys and Girls Club of Canada and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, allows young Canadians to shadow parliamentarians for the day, giving them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the inner workings of our democracy.

Budget Implementation Act, 2016, No. 1  Mr. Speaker, my hon. colleague from across the aisle used words like “cryptically”, and referred to “fine print”, with respect to some parts of the budget. She even used the word “arrogance” to describe the budget from the government. She referenced our government's decision to invest in families, in infrastructure, and in growing the economy.

Testicular Cancer  Mr. Speaker, April serves as testicular cancer awareness month. Having been diagnosed with, and treated in 2008 and again in 2011, I am grateful to be here today. I am grateful to my wife Paula, who is visiting Ottawa today, for being there for me during the treatments. I am thankful to the nurses and doctors at the Segal and Carbone cancer centers, as well as to the donors across the country who support the cause every single year.

My hon. colleague asked me what it would do for young people. I stand here today as the son of a single mom who raised my brother and I on a secretary's salary for 24 years.

The Budget  Mr. Speaker, when we looked at the budget, we considered how we could help the most vulnerable seniors living across the country. We felt strongly about about ensuring money was in the budget to invest in social housing for those seniors who needed it most. Over a quarter of a million Canadians took part in our budget consultations across the country.

The Budget  Mr. Speaker, I thank my hon. colleague from Salaberry—Suroît. To answer her question regarding what we are doing, we are investing in the future of our young people to help them find jobs. We want to invest so that young people who are struggling to go to school because of their financial needs or because they have no money can actually go to school.
