Supply  As we have shown from the beginning, sovereignists care about tax fairness, and I suppose that in a sovereign Quebec such treatment would be called into question. The same goes for the 3,400 Canadians who did not pay a cent of income tax to the federal treasury last year, even though they had a very high income. I think that we would also try to correct that effectively.

Peacekeeping  One of the points I want to raise today is that there is an ongoing commitment of the armed forces. With a whole group of people waiting to go, a whole group of people just coming back, and those who are being deployed at the moment, we are getting somewhat stretched.

At 3,400 different sites across Canada on Sunday, hundreds of thousands of people took part in the event which raised a total of $8.5 million in 40 countries worldwide last year and is expected to raise more this year.
