One Calgarian said, “It's really difficult if you're sacrificing your own meals so that your children can eat because grocery prices are expensive, or if you're rationing on things like heat for your home."

Everyone in this House knows the government has not met a single target to which it ascribed. However, on our side of the House, we believe that we can have a plan for the environment as well as have industry functioning.

This is absolutely an effort to scapegoat and divert from the Liberals' horrific record in every single area of society and in every single area of the economy. I do not appreciate that at all.

My colleague from Sarnia—Lambton knows this well, since she is the only member of Parliament to have gotten two private members' bills through the House to royal assent. One of them was the palliative care bill. My point is that she and I and everyone in this House see bill after bill with structures, ideas and ideologies, but they never deliver any results.

Enhancing Transparency and Accountability in the Transportation System Act  Madam Speaker, I did not hear a single thing the member said after I heard that he has stood up in the House 3,000 times and is not a member of cabinet. I think, rather than responding to that, I am actually going to start a petition that the member should be brought to cabinet.
