It will be in the interest of all Canadians, including those in my riding of Don Valley East, and I'm hoping that we can get this through fairly quickly.

One of the things you said was that your success rate for small business start-ups is about 50%. That seems pretty low, since you're already preparing the business plans and mentoring them, etc.

But in a sense I think we've talked about the penalties being as low as $10 million to $15 million.

Obviously these changes are intended to protect consumers, improve the bottom line for businesses and Canadian families, and ensure that they're getting real value for their hard-earned dollars. When I look around the world, and I've been to places like India where even the beggars have cellphones, our services for cellphones etc. are extremely high here, in my view.
