A lot of young people these days fantasize about becoming immortal vampires. Personally, I would not want that hickey. A rare few will live long and prosperous lives and die in their nineties while having sex with their bride of 65 years.

Industry committee  We are interpreting that network information security processing falls within the scope of PIPEDA since data processed for network information security purposes is often personal information like a name, an IP address of a botnet zombie computer, or an e-mail address. We are essentially asking for a clear-cut exception for network security information processing so that organizations have legal certainty and aren't forced to curtail network information security processing or operate in a legal grey area.

Health committee  What's really frightening about this is that it's known as the flesh-eating drug, because the area you inject, you can wind up with a very messy situation. It's also called the “zombie drug”, so today with all the young people caught up in this zombie craze.... Now, people with common sense obviously can separate the fiction, but it's less expensive and far more hazardous than any version of heroin.

Environment committee  Asian carp are like super-fish: they can eat mass quantities of food—up to 20% of their body weight in a day—they're incredibly athletic and can jump up to over a metre out of the water, and they're adaptable and can survive conditions that other fish can't. We call them zombie fish because they can live out of the water for up to 48 hours. What this means is that they can out-compete other native fish and devastate commercial and recreational fisheries. They can alter ecosystems and deter people from using waters for recreational purposes because the jumping fish can really hurt people and damage equipment.

Foreign Affairs  On behalf of concerned Canadians everywhere, I want to ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs: Is he working with his American counterparts to develop an international zombie strategy so that a zombie invasion does not turn into a zombie apocalypse?

National Defence committee  They had him on eight prescription medications. These people know how to zone out, become a zombie, if you will. They can drink a 40-ouncer of vodka right before your eyes and not fall down, and then they'll snort crushed Wellbutrin that's given to them. They'll snort it because it gives them a temporary high.

Is that why we need to hurry and cannot take time for debate? If the government needs therapy, honestly, I would be happy to give out hugs.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, in answering a question one day, actually did put that fear to bed, so I am glad that is not going to happen. There are a number of items that I would suggest are very urgent.
