Petitions  Mr. Speaker, I am presenting a petition on behalf of concerned Canadians about the culture of death that is happening under the current government, most specifically, with the recent development that Louis Roy of the Quebec college of physicians recommends the expansion of euthanasia to babies from birth to one year of age who have deformities and other various syndromes.

National Council for Reconciliation Act  Mr. Speaker, I do believe that economic reconciliation is foundational. There was a situation not so long ago, with the northern gateway project, where every first nation was in support of the project, including 80% of elected members and chief counsel of the Wet'suwet'en, yet the Liberals found some spokespeople.

Fall Economic Statement Implementation Act, 2022  Mr. Speaker, I would say it is the Liberals' policies that have caused the problems in the first place and that they should go back to the source, to the root, and take care of their spending. It is fine to help, but they should find some savings in other places. They have not. They still have a $37-billion deficit and it is accumulating.

Fall Economic Statement Implementation Act, 2022  Mr. Speaker, I agree that companies need to be paying their fair share. I will make note that this year the Alberta government is seeing a massive amount of revenue coming in, and a lot of that is because of the incentives to help in Fort McMurray. That is now going to the government and making a tremendous difference.

Fall Economic Statement Implementation Act, 2022  Mr. Speaker, it is not up to the government to decide where investments will be made. For resource or other projects, it is up to the companies and investors to make that decision. What is happening now is that there are no investments because projects are not getting approved in Canada to our detriment.

Fall Economic Statement Implementation Act, 2022  Mr. Speaker, the NDP and the Liberals are patting themselves on the back for this fall economic update. They should not. This is a fall update. Canadians are falling, and the NDP-Liberal government is failing. Canadians are seeing their standards of living erode and the cost of living skyrocket because of inflation.

National Defence  Mr. Speaker, in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge, large crowds came out to honour our veterans who fought for our freedoms, as well as those now serving in our Canadian Forces and protective services. Afterwards I visited our local Royal Canadian Legion. Branch 88 is the largest in Canada.

Business of Supply  Madam Speaker, I hope that you will pardon us if we are in disbelief regarding the member's comments. He talks about the scrutiny of the app. The Liberals cannot even scrutinize the contracts they have given. They do not know where $1.2 million of this $54 million went. We have all had blood tests.

The Economy  Mr. Speaker, the Liberal government's incompetent, insensitive, voodoo economic management is crushing everyday Canadians. More debt has been added by the Prime Minister than all prime ministers before him combined. The Liberals said that, because interest rates were rock bottom, it was no big deal to print billions, which shot up the price of homes, gas, groceries and goods.

Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, I think that the Bloc Québécois motion is designed to distract attention from what they just did. Yesterday, they voted in favour of a stronger, tougher federal government that is going to triple the carbon tax for Quebeckers. However, right now, inflation is the highest it has been in 41 years and the cost of living is rising.

Committees of the House  Madam Speaker, the Conservatives unequivocally condemn Russia and Putin for their invasion. We put the blame on Russia, and we believe 100% in supporting Ukraine.

Committees of the House  Madam Speaker, I do believe that we need to be standing up against extremism and speaking about it. Again, the Liberals make a good show of it, but what about speaking up and doing something about Iran and the IRG, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard? The Liberals say they disapprove of it, but they speak out of both sides of their mouths.

Committees of the House  Madam Speaker, we are concerned and want the government to actually take action when people are dying and there are millions of refugees. We need to continue to bring things forward. I have an example. About two or three months ago, there was an opportunity to have free flights come here.
