The Budget  Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague for his question. I can assure my colleague that we will continue to stand up for Quebec, as we are doing now, and much more than our friends across the aisle did. We take Quebec's interests to heart. Indeed, 40 members from Quebec work day and night to improve the lives of Quebec citizens.

The Budget  Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague for the excellent question. Many Canadians do not use the Internet very often because they do not have the necessary digital literacy skills. The budget provides $50 million for measures to improve their skills and help their children learn coding.

The Budget  Mr. Speaker, I would first like to assure Quebec and all Quebeckers, on my own personal behalf as well as that of every Liberal member from Quebec, I am sure, that we are there for them. We fight tooth and nail every day for Quebec's interests, businesses, people and infrastructure projects, whose financing is already in the honourable Minister of Finance's budget for this year, as it was last year.

The Budget  Mr. Speaker, I will be sharing my time with the hon. member for Parkdale—High Park. I have been surprised recently by the comments emanating from Quebec's political circles. People have been criticizing the work of the federal Liberals regarding the budget presented by my colleague from Toronto Centre, the hon.

The Budget  Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague opposite. I listened carefully to his speech and I would like to ask him what he thinks of this government and the budget. We lowered the unemployment rate from 7.1% to 6.7%. We also created 250,000 full-time jobs for Canadians. Our priority is to invest in industry and innovation to make Canada a leader in innovation.

Greek Independence Day  Mr. Speaker, the riding of Laval—Les Îles includes a remarkable Hellenic community of more than 11,000 people. The families who had the courage to immigrate to Canada, to integrate, and to share their cultural heritage contributed to the success of Canada's multiculturalism. The Greek community is inclusive and supportive, and it has built strong ties with members of the broader community where they live.

Controlled Drugs and Substances Act  Mr. Speaker, I would like to ask my colleague about her knowledge of alternatives. As she probably knows, uncontrolled drug trafficking will increase the crime rate and will increase the death rates because of overdose and will bring no money to the government. What other alternatives would she propose and what are the solutions?

Canada Pension Plan  Mr. Speaker, I would like to remind my colleague that the poor voted heavily for me. I would like to ask him about the child benefit to help the poor, to enhance their lives, and to help them join the middle class. Regarding senior citizens, he talked about electricity. I would also like to remind him that electricity is a provincial issue.

Housing  Mr. Speaker, today is a special day. It is National Housing Day. This is a perfect time to talk about the excellent work that our government is doing to improve Canadians' access to affordable housing. Can the minister responsible update the House on the development of the national housing strategy?

Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, the hon. member on the other side was criticizing the way that the Minister of Immigration has been dealing with refugees. As a matter of fact, the world knows that Canada's Minister of Immigration has done a beautiful job. His program has been welcomed at the United Nations and several countries around the world have adopted it.

Laval Seniors' Week  Mr. Speaker, Laval is known for having an abundance of resources and services for seniors. In 1993, the City of Laval demonstrated its innovative vision by establishing the first Place des aînés in the province of Quebec, a centre that offers a variety of activities and services and that has over 3,600 members.

International Cooperation  Mr. Speaker, Hurricane Matthew is the most powerful hurricane to hit the Caribbean in decades. This natural disaster killed over 500 people in Haiti. Entire towns were completely destroyed, and no one knows what will happen to the residents of the many communities that remain cut off.

Contribution of Women  Mr. Speaker, I would like to recognize all the hard work done by the extraordinary women and mothers who contribute to every sector of our economy through their unwavering dedication to their family, economic, and social values. These women bring enduring balance and serenity to all our lives through their contributions to every area of Canadian society.

Craniocerebral Trauma  Mr. Speaker, I rise today to talk about craniocerebral trauma, a very important issue that is affecting more and more young people and athletes. These injuries can destroy intracranial nervous systems or cause them to dysfunction. Every year, more than 160,000 Canadians suffer this trauma.

Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, I would like the member to comment on the following. To cripple ISIS, we have some means. Who supplies ISIS with arms and with ammunition? Who feeds ISIS financially? Who allows ISIS to smuggle and sell crude oil? Why do other countries allow other fighters from all around the world to join ISIS in Syria and Iraq?
