We've known from research evidence and from the surveillance we do in the Public Health Agency of Canada that sodium reduction is an essential component of public health efforts to help keep the Canadian population healthy. I have brought for you an in-depth report that we've completed in the agency, which I hope will serve as a reference for the committee.
