Taxation  Mr. Speaker, this fast-and-furious finance minister unveiled her latest job-killing scheme to screw over Canada's middle class to bankroll her incompetency. Newcomers such as my family came here for the Canadian dream, had very little, worked hard, saved money and started a small business.

Taxation  Mr. Speaker, the minister and the leader of the NDP can do as many photo ops with their bikes as they want, but these champagne socialists are taking money from the middle class to give to rich Liberal insiders, their elitist Bay Street buddies and the bloated bureaucracy. This job-killing tax hike vilifies success, punishing small businesses and their workers.

Budget Implementation Act, 2024, No. 1  Mr. Speaker, I am sure that they might be a little farther away after the next election, but that is okay. They can heckle me all they want. Canadians know that workers were hurt the most by the Liberal-NDP government's woke, extremist, ideological thinking, which drove them into food banks more than ever before.

Budget Implementation Act, 2024, No. 1  Mr. Speaker, it is a little rich, coming from the specific member, to be talking about falsehoods. If the Liberals want to talk about falsehoods, they should remember how they sold the carbon tax scam. They said it would be revenue-neutral. Well, that was false. They said it would somehow fix the forest fires and the environment.

Budget Implementation Act, 2024, No. 1  Mr. Speaker, I am sure that if he had been an effective small business critic, he would still be in that role. I will tell Canadians why he is not. It is because the NDP has propped up this corrupt, inept, incompetent government. In fact, the member talks about small businesses, but it is because of them that more small businesses are going insolvent and that there are more bankruptcies.

Budget Implementation Act, 2024, No. 1  Mr. Speaker, Canadians are poor, a theme that is all too common after nine years under the Liberal-NDP government. Canadians know that they could do all the right things: They could go to school, have a part-time job while they are going to school, make ends meet, get a job, and work and put in as much as they can to save up.

Carbon Pricing  Mr. Speaker, Liberals have had years to do something, and they have done nothing. Speaking of cover-ups, there is another one. Last week, the Parliamentary Budget Officer revealed that the government is hiding a secret carbon tax report that proves a majority of Canadians pay more into this scam than what they get back in these phony rebates, but the Liberal-NDP government did what it does best.

Democratic Institutions  Mr. Speaker, certain members of this House acted in the best interest of hostile foreign regimes interfering in Canada's democracy. This is a disgusting betrayal of Canadians who elected us to represent them in this place. We as MPs are supposed to serve Canadians, not foreign hostile actors.

Democratic Institutions  Mr. Speaker, “boo hoo, get over it” was the most disgusting response from the cover-up coalition. The government turned a blind eye to foreign interference to protect its own partisan interests. It refused to hand over documents to that commission. Now it will not release the names of the MPs in this House doing dirty work for foreign hostile regimes.

Carbon Pricing  Mr. Speaker, after nine years, another gag order victim of the Liberal-NDP Prime Minister has come forward. This time, it is his own Parliamentary Budget Officer, who revealed yesterday that there was a secret government document that would lambaste and completely put to shame the claims on the carbon tax scam.

Carbon Pricing  Mr. Speaker, maybe the Liberals are gagging the PBO because they are ashamed he is going to reveal that this carbon tax scam is not worth the cost and it will confirm that a majority of Canadians are worse off in this scam than what they get back in phony rebates. If the Liberals do not want to ungag him and they do not want to release the report, why do they not just call a carbon tax election so that Canadians can decide whether they want to keep this scam or axe the tax under a common-sense Conservative government?

Electoral Participation Act  Madam Speaker, after nine years of the Liberal-NDP Prime Minister and the government's woke, wacko, extremist policies, Canadians are poorer than they have ever been before. It is because the New Democrats have helped prop up the most corrupt Prime Minister in Canadian history. He doubled rents and mortgages and made food unaffordable, all on a pathway to quadrupling the carbon tax scam.

Finance  Madam Speaker, Liberal math says that budgets balance themselves. The minister should give courage to carbon tax Carney to show up. He will be his leader soon enough, after all. Canadians are terrified to know what path carbon tax Carney is going to take the country down once he becomes the Liberal leader.

Finance  Madam Speaker, Mark “carbon tax” Carney should show some courage, show up to the finance committee and answer what he will do when he is coronated Liberal leader. Canadians are terrified that he will take the country down the same destructive path that the Liberal-NDP Prime Minister did.
