Industry committee  I just want to agree with Peter, and I also agree with the comments by the honourable member. You have to marry technology with manufacturing in order to create the lifestyle and livelihood that we have in this community. We can't forget about our own people. I say there should be fewer trade missions to China.

Look at all the developments going on in, say, the Kitchener–Waterloo area, everything east of London, and just west of Toronto.

In my other life—my real life, I suppose I can say, because here I'm a volunteer as chair of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce—my full-time career is that of a practising lawyer, mostly in labour and employment here in this community.
