As was pointed out earlier, neutralizing antibodies are very important, but they are what the variants are likely to escape. We and others are designing vaccines that induce cellular immunity against more highly conserved portions of the virus.

Fitzhenry vector facility is designed to produce adenoviral vectored vaccines. These will be similar to the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, and actually the CanSino and Sputnik vaccines, for example.
