I get emotional when I talk about it. So we are working on it.

For two years, all activities at the Centre-Femmes de Bellechasse, as at a majority of community organizations, have taken place via Zoom. So when the women we want to help don't have the $55 a month to pay for an Internet connection, it is difficult to contact them.

The perpetrator of the violence has to be held accountable. At present, women who are victims of violence are often the ones called to testify in court.

The RCM of Bellechasse is a large rural area located south of Quebec City. It is composed of 20 municipalities, but there are no cities.
