Transport committee  That's an excellent question. The Lower Mainland, inclusive of the entire Fraser Valley, needs to be looked at as a system and as a watershed. If we take a watershed view, what happened in our flooding several years ago could have happened right in the hearts of our urban populations as well.

Transport committee  Through the chair, thank you for the question. I think there are two aspects of funding. Building on Mr. Ness's comments, we actually need two streams. One is to learn to understand more about where our risks and vulnerabilities are. We're currently conducting inner risk, hazard and vulnerability studies just to be able to expand our knowledge.
