Natural Resources committee  Clean fuel regulations would require the government to contract for 26 megatonnes of emissions reductions by 2030 through different sources like biofuels and all kinds of different sources that are decarbonizing the fuel supply. Carbon capture is only one of those technologies.

Natural Resources committee  Mr. Chairman and members of the committee, I am pleased to be here on behalf of the Pathways Alliance today. Pathways represents Canada's six largest oil sands companies. That includes Suncor, which spoke here earlier this morning, as well as Canadian Natural, Cenovus, ConocoPhillips Canada, Imperial and Meg Energy.
