Mr. Mezhevoj's three children were deported to the Polyany sanatorium, in the Moscow region, together with other children. We called them “the group of 31”. Among those children, there were some who were first fostered in Russian families.

He has three children who were unlawfully deported together with other children from Mariupol, first to occupied Donetsk and then to the Polyany sanatorium in the Moscow region.
