It was mentioned that at this time of year, water levels on the Fraser decrease, not increase. I question the timing then. What would have been the suitability or sense of delaying the dredging—the gravel extraction—to a point in time when water levels and conditions were much safer to install a bridge, because you'd have a lot less erosion on any breach of the causeway?
