In other words, somebody comes back from service and they need certain supports at home. The program can be employed to help them in conjunction with other programs—rehabilitation programs, career transition services, and so on.
The VIP program can be instituted for a shorter period of time. A person's needs are assessed by case managers at different points in time and the program is modified accordingly.
