Health  Yesterday, the Ontario health minister defended the Ford government by saying, at least it is not as bad as Jason Kenney. Conservatives are failing Canadians, but so are Liberals. Canadians are depending on the federal government to show leadership and share a plan with the provinces. When will it?

Official Languages  We made a commitment in that regard. We only hope that the province of Alberta and Premier Jason Kenney, along with our Conservatives colleagues in the House of Commons in Ottawa, will recognize the importance of ensuring the vitality of Campus Saint-Jean and show their support for a bilingual Canada.

Official Languages  In violation of the contract signed in 1976 between the faculty of Saint-Jean, the University of Alberta and the Government of Alberta, which promised adequate funding to operate, maintain, expand and enhance the school, Jason Kenney's cuts to post-secondary education are threatening the very existence of Campus Saint-Jean. Unlike in Ontario, where the Ford government refused to fund the Université de l'Ontario français, Alberta's government is failing to live up to its obligations.

Business of Supply  Our federal government has to enforce certain standards and is required to ensure that people have access to consistent health care services and have the same rights all across the country. We need to stop people like Alberta Premier Jason Kenney who is trying to privatize health care. We are investing in seniors and day care, which are also very important. We need to ensure that we have standards. That is where the Bloc Québécois seems to be on the wrong track.

Citizenship and Immigration committee  Go, with regard to the parent and grandparent applications, I have some history. I first got elected in 2006. What Jason Kenney and the Conservative Party did was cut down the number of parent and grandparent applications to 5,000. They reduced the age of a dependent child from 22 years to 18 years. It was a first-come, first-served application.

Citizenship and Immigration committee  I want to remind the honourable Conservative members that this regulation 4 was brought in by Jason Kenney at the time and puts the onus on the couples to prove not only that the marriage is genuine, but that, in fact, when they entered into the marriage, their intentions were to be husband and wife.

Status of the French Language in Montreal  It is a key institution for Franco-Albertans, and it is under threat from other Conservatives who are part of Jason Kenney's government.

Health  Our major hospitals have reached their ICU capacity and there is no place for patients to go. In Alberta, we have no mask mandate, the fewest COVID-19 restrictions in the country, and Jason Kenney is refusing to allow the federal contact tracing app, even though the Alberta app is an abysmal failure. Albertans are dying. Will the government show some leadership to protect Albertans from this disaster?

Health Care in Alberta  Will the minister commit to protecting women in Alberta and the rest of Canada? Will she withhold transfer payments if Jason Kenney refuses to adhere to the Canada Health Act?

Environmental Restoration Incentive Act  Alberta is calling for flow-through shares in order to allow the private sector to accelerate oil and gas well reclamation. Premier Scott Moe of Saskatchewan has also made similar calls. Premier Jason Kenney advocates it to get the oil field service sector back to work while reducing an environmental liability. Alberta finance minister Travis Toews supports the proposal. He says, “Bill C-221 builds on the work Alberta has undertaken,” and “Flow-through shares are a game-changer for helping producers raise money from the private sector to decommission oil and gas wells.”

Business of Supply  We know that, as soon as the WE affair started to make the news, the leader of the Bloc Québécois came out and said that the Prime Minister needed to resign, that there was corruption and that they were sure of it. It was the same thing for the leader of the official opposition. He said that the Prime Minister needed to resign and there was corruption happening.

Citizenship and Immigration committee  Saroya said that we have top knowledge on this panel here. I won't be able to explain the mess Jason Kenney created over the years when he was the immigration minister, and is creating now as the premier of Alberta. I am getting hundreds of calls from there. However, I want to tell you what the Liberal government has done.

Official Languages  We, as a government, want to make sure that we work across party lines to support Campus Saint-Jean, make sure that Franco-Albertans have access to post-secondary education in French and ensure all western Canadians have access to post-secondary education in French. We really hope that the Conservatives will join us in making sure that Jason Kenney and the Conservatives in Alberta live up to their end of the deal and save Campus Saint-Jean.
