This enactment amends the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act in order to enhance the accountability of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police by establishing the Civilian Review and Oversight Council for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the office of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Ombudsperson. It also makes consequential amendments to other Acts.
