Thank you, Minister, for being here. It's always interesting to look at our advancements in Afghanistan since our deployment there. I think as Canadians we sometimes almost expect miracles to happen. When we look at where Afghanistan was and how long it took it to get to this stage, it is remarkable, the progress we've made.
I'd like it if you could expand a little on our issues with the border, not only on the fact that our military are there, but also on the civil training from our police and our border people that is happening with the Afghanis so that ultimately they'll be responsible for the border. Could you expand on that as to where we're going, looking more to the future than the past in that whole area?
