I mentioned you since you said it was important for federal programs to offer some flexibility in the area of risk management and to adapt these programs to regional characteristics. This idea seemed interesting to me as coming from a person representing young farmers. This is something worth remembering when planning a coast-to-coast program that in the end may prove not to be adapted to regional and provincial specificities. Since you mentioned that we must have a vision — and I think it is interesting to remind it — in order to prepare a future for agriculture in Canada, I am wondering if this is not one of the important solutions we have to consider if we want to build a viable agricultural sector in the future.
