We understand there are regulations to protect health and safety and the environment, but there are unnecessary red tape and barriers, specifically on interprovincial trade with agri-food products. There's duplication in federal and provincial regulations. If meat is safe enough to eat in one province, it should be safe enough to transport to another province.
