Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the 54^th meeting the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage dealing, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), with a full investigation of the role of a public broadcaster in the 21^st century.

Our first witnesses today are Mr. John Goldsmith and Mr. André Courchesne, from the Canada Council for the Arts.
