To pick up on Mr. Samson's point, we are a nation today. This has nothing to do with what heritage is today. Heritage comes from where we came from. As a former school board trustee, I can tell you, we'll be changing this every six months if we are a nation today.
I'm sorry. We have not consulted Canadians on this, Dr. Champion. We may have had a quick vote yesterday and maybe some stood up from every party and accepted it, but I haven't consulted my constituents. I have done a bit of it and I can tell you, they need to be consulted and they haven't been consulted on this. This is a major issue in this country as far as heritage is concerned.
