Mr. Chair, my point of order, which stands, is that there is a proper order to be followed, which is to say that the member across the way can put forward an amendment to the motion; however, he chose not to do that today. Instead, he held the floor in a filibuster, trying to defend himself, yet offering no support for the motion that is in front of us, which would condemn anti-Semitism in this country.

Mr. Chair, on a point of order, it is 5:40 p.m. However, there has not been a motion to adjourn that has been presented at this table, and we do have resources to go until six o'clock.

We don't have any resources, Mrs. Thomas. We are at the two-hour mark.

I need a motion for an adjournment or a suspension. Keep in mind, if we do suspend, that it will affect the May 7 meeting.

Mr. Chair, a point of order, either you unilaterally decide to adjourn this meeting right now, or the floor goes to Mr. Philip Lawrence.

I will adjourn.
