It's not going to be easy, but it is pretty straightforward--simple, if you will. The year 1990 would be considered the base year from which we measure our reductions. By 2020, which is 11 years from now, we would have a 25% reduction based on those 1990 emissions. By 2050 we would have an 80% reduction.
There's a process utilizing the Minister of the Environment and the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy to provide some flexibility in terms of exactly when and how we meet interim stages at five-year intervals.
