Okay. I just wanted to check that.

The Chair Liberal Deb Schulte

—if she's available on the 18th, then we'll take her, and we'll move the other one.

But you're interested in—

Nathan Cullen NDP Skeena—Bulkley Valley, BC

Very keen, absolutely.

The Chair Liberal Deb Schulte

—as soon as possible having the minister come before us and having the commissioner come before us, right?

Nathan Cullen NDP Skeena—Bulkley Valley, BC

Very much so.

The Chair Liberal Deb Schulte

I think that usually ministers come for an hour. Given the fact that this is the first opportunity to talk to the minister, I would love to see her make herself available for a little bit longer than that. I think we'll have a lot of questions to ask her.

Likely they're not going to be partisan questions, because this will be the first time we meet her. We'd love to hear her vision for what she sees the government doing going forward, and hopefully we'll be able to share with her a little bit of how we hope to participate in that process.

The Chair Liberal Deb Schulte

I think Mr. Wilkinson is hearing us, and we'll see what we can do about that.

Mr. Bossio.

Mike Bossio Liberal Hastings—Lennox and Addington, ON

I was going to say that given the minister's tight schedule, maybe we would want to consider it on either the 16th or the 18th.

The Chair Liberal Deb Schulte

Yes, absolutely. I think she's probably pretty booked up right now, but we will make it work. Whatever fits her schedule, we'll make it work. We have the flexibility, and everyone is okay with that, I think, right?

If there is no other business, then we'll move to adjourn.

An hon. member

So moved.

The Chair Liberal Deb Schulte

Thank you. This meeting is adjourned.
