Mr. Schreiber told the committee that the Swiss bank account code-named MARC was set up at the end of 1993, and $500,000 was transferred into it to make sure that you would work for him and for Thyssen, but that he, Mr. Schreiber, was later told that things had changed and he was not to use the account anymore. This is a quote taken from Mr. Schreiber's testimony on December 4.
