The problem I'm trying to understand is that the invoice that an official agent would have to file with their return would in fact not be an original invoice and would appear not to be a valid document for purposes of filing a return. Were you aware of that? Did you think that maybe they would need an individual invoice like this to be able to properly file an election expenses return?
