Yes, I think that would make sense. There is always a danger of making algorithms too public, though, because as soon as they become very public and as soon as they're really out in the open there is a whole industry built on trying to break algorithms. There is search engine optimization, so you don't want to make the algorithm so transparent that people can then easily game them.
