Abdelhaq Sari Liberal Bourassa, QC

I simply want to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy holiday season, as well as a great year in 2026, filled with happiness, joy, prosperity, serenity and above all peace and health.

I would conclude by telling you what I say in my riding to all the people living in seniors' residences and to members of seniors' clubs: Do not forget to tell your loved ones that you love them, take the time to do so, because it is very important.

Mr. Chair, thank you for the work you do. I also want to thank all the teams that support us, all the technicians and interpreters.

Mr. Saini.

One of the nice things in a democracy is that you can debate and come up with the best solution. I have absolutely no issues with how we debate, as long as there are things that are purposeful.

At the end of the day, to all the staff, all my colleagues on the other side and Madam Clerk, analysts and everybody else, happy birthday. Thank you very much.

On that note, I want to thank all of my colleagues around this table.

I also want to thank our staff.

Welcome to the staff who are here for their first time on Parliament Hill and witnessing our committee work.

I want to thank, in particular, our clerk, for the many hours that we spend working together, and the analysts as well, Maxime-Olivier and Alexandra, for all the work they do, and also our interpreters.

Thank you so much for everything you do.

For our technicians as well, thank you for making us live every day.

I am going to conclude by wishing you all a very merry Christmas, a happy holiday and a healthy, happy and prosperous new year.

This meeting is adjourned. Thank you.
