As the chair of the committee, whether Mr. Crête will accept an amendment or not isn't my issue. My issue is whether you are making an amendment. If you are, we'll put it on the table to debate. If you're not, we'll just carry on with debate on the motion.

My amendment removes the words, “promptly introduce”, and introduces, “act upon the recommendations on” the tax measures in the unanimous report.
