Assistant to the General President, Canadian Operations, International Association of Fire Fighters
It's defined under the Income Tax Act regulation, actually. When we got the $2.33 million, that's where we had to go in and look at who was actually going to get it. It's defined very clearly under the regulation.

In previous times I can remember, when I first got here, there was another item that was asked for. I think it was for training money for WHMIS or preparedness for natural disasters or other pandemic issues. This government has delivered on that money that you'd asked for. Is that an accurate statement?
Assistant to the General President, Canadian Operations, International Association of Fire Fighters
That's an accurate statement. We were requesting funding for HAZMAT training and CBRN training, and yes, the government came up with $2.5 million.
That's currently in the works.
