You say things that strike me as potentially quite serious; for example, that in the Canadian Food Inspection Agency the lack of resources caused by budget cuts has increased the risk to public health after the adoption of the new poultry rejection project, which transfers the responsibility for inspection of sick chickens from CFIA veterinarians to the industry, and you say something similar about consumer product safety.
