There's a bank employee who blows the whistle on the institution—a clear violation of the law—and then that bank punishes the whistle-blower. In terms of the complaint, is it up to the individual who was fired because they blew the whistle on their bank? Is it up to the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada?
Who, then, follows up so that those penalties are actually imposed and there's a process?
