I'd like to know how the negotiations with the World Trade Organization have come to this point. I was quite surprised—and others were as well—to see that the extent and content of texts that were circulating were jeopardizing the future of the fisheries in general. I find it very hard to accept that we've gotten to the point where we have these kinds of texts. I figure it's one of two things: either someone was asleep at the switch at some point, or these kinds of negotiations can lead to texts that I don't think make any sense.
You've been minister for two years, or a little more. At what point were you made aware of these negotiations? What measures did you take with regard to all that?
