For me, I think the issue is not really about whether there is a second system that could be complementary, but what that second system is. For example, the reason we're not as thrilled about the U.K. system is that it doesn't allow comparison across categories, or even within categories. For example, if you take a low-fat cheese and a regular cheese, both rate high in fat within the stoplight system, yet one actually is a better choice than the other.
So it's a bit of “the devil is in the detail” on how you design your system versus things being good or bad. You have to make sure we're not confusing consumers and that we're allowing them to make meaningful comparisons. That is really the message I'm trying to leave with you today.
