I think you did allude to that fact as well, and you're well acquainted with it, no doubt, but for some people employment--and maybe it's a cyclical thing, episodic, as you say, it comes around--is a stress in itself and it sometimes requires an entirely different, more pastoral, calmer outdoor country setting, or whatever.
