It has to be systematic. There has to be a program around the students to provide the exposure, such as getting people from the private sector to come and meet the students for half a day, or the students going to the company's site to talk to the marketing folks, to talk to the people who are in production, so that they learn about the kinds of problems that are faced outside of academia. It won't happen just by sitting in a room and talking to others. It has to be practised, it has to be structured, and it has to be planned so that it will happen, for sure.
