I just want to thank you for your confidence.
It is my pleasure to accept this responsibility, especially as I have been able to participate in your committee's work over the past few months. I know that everyone here, from the chair to the members, to all the support staff—be they clerks or analysts—is committed to improving the conditions and quality of life of their fellow citizens.
So I hope the government will take into consideration the recommendations that will arise from our future business.
