Maybe I could attempt to respond from our point of view. We have discussed within our parish whether or not we would ever offer sanctuary again. The answer was, it would depend on the case. If it is seen that there is a fair, just appeal process and the results of that were correct, then I don't think we would need to offer sanctuary. But it will depend on a case-by-case situation from our point of view.
