I'm now going to refer to the text of O'Brien and Bosc, page 1057. I made a ruling earlier, but I'm going to rule it out of order.
There's a paragraph on page 1057:
Motion for the Previous Question. The motion “That this question be now put” is known as the previous question. In the House, the previous question is a debatable motion. When the debate ends, the motion for the previous question is put to a vote. If the motion is carried, the initial motion under consideration is immediately put to a vote.
This is the sentence that I'm going to rely on for my decision, Mr. Dykstra:
In committee, motions for the previous question are inadmissible.
Accordingly, based on that paragraph, I'm ruling your motion out of order.
