I'm just wondering if, perhaps, at this point in time, calling a point of order with regard to the demeanour with which this is being addressed can be heard—I understand the perspective—and then we can move on.

The member hasn't been in the House that long, but I will say that I've been a former chair, and what Mr. Viersen is saying is an accurate challenge. It's not the job of the chair to pick one side of the argument over the other. It's to facilitate the discussion.

To say now that we need to get things moving and to say sorry about the point of order.... It's a very legitimate point of order, and it needs to be addressed by the chair.
