How has your industry been affected by Health Canada's ban on the use of certain pesticides on products, whereas other countries use the same products and the food thus produced still manages to make its way into Canada quite easily. Increasingly, we have by-products that cost more than products from other countries. These countries use low quality products and chemicals and they face no restrictions at the border.
What difference does this make? Certainly there is an impact on prices. How does this affect your industry?
