Concerns have been reported that the emergence of quantum computing will require a need to update standards for encryption algorithms to ensure they are secure from any potential attacks, in particular from hacking from nefarious sources by quantum computers.
Would you say this is a concern? How should the federal government approach this to ensure encryptions are secure? Specifically, are there any policies or laws that we might want to be considering around this?
